The LomZom platform is committed to protecting the privacy of its users and respecting their personal data. This policy explains the types of personal information we collect when you use the platform, how we use, protect, and share it, and the rights afforded to you under the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law, 1981, its amendments, and the regulations enacted thereunder. By using the platform, you acknowledge that you have read this policy and understood its contents; wherever the law requires explicit consent, we request it separately and clearly.

Information We Collect

  • Account registration information, such as your name, email address, and phone number.
  • Usage and learning data, such as the learning units you have purchased, your progress through lessons, the videos you have watched, and your interaction with the content.
  • Payment data, such as purchase details, transaction history, and amounts in Israeli new shekels. Payment card data is processed directly by the certified payment gateway (Tranzila); we do not see or store your full card number on our servers, and we retain only the transaction identifier and its token to complete and verify the purchase.
  • Technical data, such as device type, browser, operating system, and IP address, as well as data collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies.

Purposes of Collecting Information

  • Providing access to the educational content you have purchased and managing your account.
  • Improving the learning experience and tracking your academic progress.
  • Completing payments, issuing invoices, and retaining their records as required by law.
  • Communicating with you about your account, your purchases, and material updates to the service.
  • Ensuring the security of the platform, preventing unlawful use, and complying with legal obligations.
  • Sending marketing messages, only after obtaining your explicit prior consent.

  • The platform uses cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, save your preferences, and analyze and improve the platform's performance.
  • These cookies are divided into cookies essential for the operation of the site, and analytical and functional cookies that are activated only with your consent where required by law. Payments and Content

  • Payments are processed through the certified Tranzila gateway, which complies with payment card data security standards; we do not see or store your full card details. We retain transaction records and invoices for the period required by law.
  • The educational content and videos are hosted on our own servers, and access is provided through temporary, secured links tied to your account that may not be shared.

Sharing of Information

  • We do not sell or rent your personal information to any third party.
  • We share your information with the service providers mentioned above only to the extent necessary to operate the platform.
  • We may disclose your information where there is a legal obligation or an order from a judicial body or competent authority.
  • We may disclose your information to protect our rights or the safety of our users or to prevent fraud, or otherwise with your explicit consent.

Data Retention

  • We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy, or for the period required by law.
  • When it is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymize it securely. Payment records and invoices are retained for the period prescribed by law.

Information Security

  • We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or disclosure, in accordance with the Israeli Protection of Privacy (Data Security) Regulations, 2017.
  • While we strive to protect your data to the fullest extent, no transmission of data over the internet can be guaranteed to be absolutely secure. In the event of a material security incident affecting your data, we will handle and report it as required by law.

  • You may unsubscribe from marketing messages at any time via the unsubscribe link included in every message or by contacting us directly, without this affecting your use of the service in any way.

Transfer of Data Outside Israel

  • Some of your data may be stored or processed by service providers whose servers are partly located outside Israel. In such cases, we ensure that the transfer is carried out in accordance with the Protection of Privacy (Transfer of Data to Databases Abroad) Regulations, 2001, and that an adequate level of protection is provided for your data.

Privacy of Minors

  • The platform is directed at 12th-grade students, some of whom may be under the age of eighteen. For minor users, the consent of a parent or legal guardian is required before using the platform and providing personal information.
  • If we become aware that we have collected information about a minor without the required consent, we will promptly delete it. If you are a parent and believe that your child has provided information without your consent, please contact us.
